These are high-output 6″ × 9″ three-way coaxial car speakers built in the DRVN series by JVC. They feature a carbon-mica woofer cone for strong, clean bass output and a hybrid rubber-coated cloth surround that supports dynamic movement and durability. The midrange is driven by a 2-5/8″ polyetherimide (PEI) cone, and the high frequencies are handled by a PEI dome tweeter — together providing a broad frequency range from about 58 Hz up to 21 kHz. They handle around 70 W RMS power per speaker (500 W peak) and have a sensitivity of around 88 dB, designed to work well as an upgrade to factory speakers without needing huge amplification.
